Design of new technologies has to be based on accurate and reliable data regarding the materials involve. Standards for new materials like KMM cannot be established before their extensive investigations and exploiting. Nevertheless, the accumulated knowledge will be successfully collected in the database created by the KMM-NoE. These databases will be valuable for establishing international standards when currently new materials will become of common use. |
