The External Industrial Network (EIN) is created to spread the KMM-NoE generated knowledge in industrial companies beyond the network. 

The main activities in which EIN members will participate focus on:

•  Establishing current technological demands in relation to the KMM-NoE.
•  Transmitting the real needs of industry to the KMM-NoE researchers, in order to achieve wider application of the research results.
•  Promotion and dissemination of KMM-NoE activities and research results.
•  Development of mechanisms for integrating science and industry.

EIN membership affords the following benefits:

•  You will receive privileged information concerning all the industry-oriented activities or actions, either through the EIN Web site area exclusively for EIN members, or by e-mail.
•  Appearing, together with other companies with common concerns, on a panel of competencies created by the KMM-NoE
•  Being informed of the research results at the same time as the KMM-NoE members, prior to transmission of this information to the other industrial companies.
•  Being able to access the KMM-NoE e-Library, where different types of information can be found.
•  Being able to attend workshops and industrial meetings organised by EIN members to define industrial needs.
